Healthy Waters at Silk Grass Wildlife Preserve

In a one-of-a-kind partnership, our conservation-centered agribusiness has paired up with Stroud Water Research Center to make good on our promise to protect our irreplaceable natural resources while building a circular economy in Belize.

Stroud’s research focuses on the five watersheds at Silk Grass Wildlife Preserve to ensure that Silk Grass Farms' agricultural production process has only healthy impacts on our water systems. Additionally, this research will inform the development of a management plan for the Preserve that can also serve as a model for the management of other important watersheds and agribusinesses in Belize.
